Oh yes...this is just the skin-60 inches long...I don't know where the live part is. But they say it isn't a dangerous one. I'm not really sure I care if it's dangerous or not...a snake is a snake when it comes slithering out at you...or when you see it's skin wrapped around your washing machine cord. (And yes, those of my children who think I tend to exaggerate- you know who you are-I measured it myself, thank you very much!)

So....


I guess this significantly reduces the number of those who will EVER come to visit me, doesn't it?

These are photos taken when Courtney was about 1 week old. A friend of Mary-Carmen's took them, for practice...too bad she's moving to the other side of the country (the photographer, not Mary-Carmen!!)

Maybe she will remember me afterall.

My life at the moment

I am very blessed to be able to be with ALL my grandkids...even ones that don't remember who I am. On Mother's Day weekend we will all be together here in Raleigh and I'll post those photos later. In the meantime I am refinishing a dresser and table for MC and hopefully sewing a couple of dresses for Catie-Lynn...and spending time with my kids and the grandkids!! Oh, yes, and spending time in the car with Catie-Lynn practicing for her drivers license!! How much better can life get?

Time to update?

Hum...one of my kids told me it was time to update my blog. Last one in Sept...hum?

My life is a bowl of cherries...I just have a bit of a problem with the pits once in a while but otherwise Life is good.

I'll be seeing all my kids and grandkids in about 2 weeks and will meet our new #8 grandbaby then. I'll be leaving Catie-Lynn in the states to work for her supper, I mean for her college expenses. When I return from the states Carlos and I will truly be empty nesters since my mother-in-law isn't here either.


Life is good...I just have to watch out for the pits!



Time to update my photo...Hum?

No way!!! That photo is over a year old but it's the best one I have...I'm just older now. Maybe I'll update after I get that face lift, tummy tuck, arm reduction, boob lift, etc that I've been waiting for. But since I'm still waiting for all that, you'll have to wait for a new photo!!
